It's not for everyone, but we definitely enjoy it. I have many personality characteristics that are associated with my cross, so pet play for us is almost a default I suppose. I'm working to lose a bit of weight so when I go flying trying to attack my Sir, I don't hurt him or myself. LOL

I'm a wolf cub, but like... A domesticated wolf cub? I really just act like a puppy (and some special people even get to call me Pupper) but I'm not a puppy, I'm a wolfie!!

 

I have some ears but I really REALLY want a tail. And me and Daddy have discussed me getting a new collar (mine broke a while back) and a new food dish (in the mean time I eat right out of Daddy's hand).

 

Daddy gets into it to, in a more primal sense. He growls and howls, chases me on all fours, and even bites.

Ugh, I LOVE the gear that comes with it. Have you ever seen Hoshiikins ears and tails? They're on Etsy - ho-mah gawd they are so gorgeous. My dream set will come from them someday, and my coloring is red with darker red tiger stripes, and cream markings on my... okay if we're putting it into human terms, my face, my torso, and my hands and feet, as well as the tip of my tail. I made an avatar in Second Life so I could see myself as I'd like to look when I play. I have pictures, but I'm not sure how to share them from my computer here. :/

I'm mostly a kitten, a wolfie or a skunky. But sometimes I also play as a bunny and other little animals.

 

My Daddy sometimes acts like a wolf, like growling and biting. Thats why I call him Daddywolf.

One of my "friends" said she was a kitten because she owned a pair of cat ears, and a puppy because she has a few collars.

 

I don't really think that makes her either of those - there's more to being a pet than owning accessories. There are personality types that fit certain pets, right?

Maybe those just help her feel like a pet? Some people feel like a pet all the time, but others like having the whole look and only get into the headspace then. 

 

I don't identify as a pet, but I can play as a pet with gear when my partner wants to. People do things differently but that doesn't mean they aren't what they say.

Reasons behind the forum:

 

I feel like this board/forum is pretty appropriate for this site. DDlg and pet's cross paths a lot, and pets can also be littles, and littles can be pets. 

 

Pet play is a form of role play, just like DDlg! 

 

Pet play is when a person takes on animal characterizes, like being like a kitten, or being a little pup.  This form of play can be express in many ways, including but not limited to, dressing up, animal speak, and walking or other traits and animal they are might have. People don't need to do all of these things in order to know as a 'pet'. That's just some general stuff people are into.

  

Pet play can be sexual and non sexual!  Pet play doesn't involve furries and it also has nothing to do with otherkin.  

 

Typical pet play animals are: Kittens, Bunnies, Puppies, Foxes, Wolves, Ponies... The list can go on. There are many forms of pets out there, the options are limitless.  

 

 

 

This is a place where we talk about pet play, show off new outfits, show off pet play themed items.... ect.

This is also a hangout thread. :3 Not all conversations need to be about pet play! No worries!

You can just come in and say hi.

Haha, I have ears and tails.

I also have a set coming from kittens play pen! I'm going to be a kitten with brown ears and tail. :3 I'm excited. Tails are cute. 

 I found this site by chance and it seems very friendly.  As this is my first post, a little about me:-  I live in the UK, on a farm although I'm not a farmer, I stumble on a chance a few years ago to live in one of our National Parks and love it here although is quite isolated.

 

i have a great interest in Wildlife and filmed Hedgehogs a lot.   ! have many hundred DVDs full of Hedgehogs eating at night.

 

Now for USA members there are no hedgehogs in the USA, but they can be found in parts of Europe and Africa.  they weight up to 1,2 kilograms  and their defense mechanism is to curly up into a very tight very prickly ball.

 

Another favorite is the grey Squirrel which I think you do have in the USA ?.  Now I admire them a lot  they can hang upside holding on to a branch with their tail whilst they eat peanuts in a bird feeder.   I admire them a lot and we have five resident at the moment popping into my bird feeding area  just in front kitchen window.

 

Also loads of Foxes.  but they are great survivors all the Chicken Farmers have to take great care in keeping the Chickens in a fox proof field or Barn.

 

Now one can dream of being one of these wonderful wild animal or a much loved Pet such as a cat (I have one)  or horse ( had 2 for many years).

 

Dreaming of being on of these animals probably led to a book called the 'Wind in the Willows'    Just an example of how positive these dreams can be...

 

So a Forum for PetPlay discussions, for me is most interesting !

Honestly, at this time, I don't have much of a bull space! It's more like a fun role I play. My bull persona is very arrogant and aggressive, though! I'm a rodeo bull, after all.

oof im v late but i usually buy my ears from instagram shops. they're really good quality but some are a bit expensive which is reasonable. i mainly buy from thecoywolfden and sugarfur.shop but theres more shops like nina_creations___, kuro_crafting, kitsus_creations, ateliercreatura, etc.
