Brattyprincess Posted December 18, 2016 Report Posted December 18, 2016 I find it very difficult to express myself because my daddy and I are LDR. So whenever I just want him to simply watch me color a picture for him, those are the little things I'm missing. I don't have someone to hand me my stuffie when I'm sad. Having a ddlg relationship from a very long distance is difficult in itself. Any advice on how to fill that void through just a text? Or just through a video chat?
Guest Posted December 18, 2016 Report Posted December 18, 2016 My daddy and I use an app to call one another and talk. It makes me super happy to hear him. He also will make little videos for me that are him being silly or telling me he loves me and I watch those when I down.we talk on kik a lot too and I send him pictures of what I am doing and tell him about it

Brattyprincess Posted December 18, 2016 Author Report Posted December 18, 2016 (edited) Thank you so much. All ideas help. And every day I do my best to make sure that the long distance part is the smallest issue in our relationship right now. Edited December 18, 2016 by ImHisPrincess
Guest Youandme Posted December 18, 2016 Report Posted December 18, 2016 When two hearts beat for each other, when two bodies crave for each other, when two souls wish to become one distance is just nothing because both know the moment both are together all this distance will be gone and the wait over making you both forget all these small issues. All the best and keep smiling growing stronger each day.
Guest SoloFairy Posted December 18, 2016 Report Posted December 18, 2016 Daddy and I have been in a LDR for a little over a year. It can be difficult but it can also be very rewarding and a fantastic way to learn about yourself. We use a lot of apps to bridge the gap. We function a lot like a local D/s relationship would. I have rules that I am expected to follow but the difference is that I have to tattle on myself when I don't follow them. That was really really hard at first and I often put it off for a day or two then I'd get in even bigger trouble. Now I tell him right away often times without thinking about it. Communication is the foundation of any relationship but especially in a LDR. Here are the apps we use I am copying and pasting from another thread in case you missed it: Couple-texting, pictures, voice messages, drawing pictures FB messenger-video chatting Skype- we just figured out you can set it up to automatically answer without ringing so I have that set up on my laptop so Daddy can now peek in on me while I'm sleeping. It's such a great feeling to wake up and see Daddy right there. To call out his name and him be able to answer. Glide- To send longer video messages. I send a video message to Daddy every morning and usually before bed and any other time I'm bored. It tells you when they are watching it and when they are recording a video so that's fun. Family360- A GPS app so we know where the other is. It alerts us when the other leaves or comes home. Is at work or leaves work, and other various places. It really helps us feel more connected to be able to pull the app up at any time and see where they are or where they have been. It also helps cure some anxiety "Why hasn't Daddy messaged me?? Oh he's still at work" lol www.rabb.it This is only an app on Apple so we use it on our computers. It lets you video chat while watching the same movie. We watched Sharknado and it was almost like he was right there with me! Google drive- We use this for our journals. We both have our own folders and we write about anything and everything usually everyday. We use it go get everything out of our head and to learn more about each other. It's great after a long day of missed texts or calls to read what he's been up to that day. Fitbit- we use that App to keep each other healthy and challenge each other. Wunderlist- Probably Daddy's favorite it's an app where Daddy can add tasks for me to do through out the day. It alerts me when he adds something and it alerts him when I check it off. Tumblr- We use that as a way to share our interests to each other. Mine is dedicated to him and his to me and we often share mushy gushy stuff lol We are looking at getting the long distance lamps. The idea behind it is when one person touches their lamp the other persons lamp lights up. Youtube- We have a shared account and have playlists and Daddy even posts video's of himself there sometimes!
