I just moved to a brand new city and so far only have a few friends at work, any tips on meeting new real life or online friends that could help not be so lonely?

i make most of my friends via events/shows around my area. or it becomes a long chain of my-friends-friend. but if you have a facebook you can search up cool things happening in your city, invite someone from work if going alone is intimidating. try to start conversation about what show or event you're at and let it flow naturally. exchange facebooks/instagrams/numbers too! i like giving them my instagram so they will know who i am when i message them later, instead of having a random name they might not remember pop up on their phone. i hope that helps!
