Adam0127 Posted December 5, 2016 Report Posted December 5, 2016 My girlfriend and I have been in a ddlg relationship for nearly a year now. I was completely new to it because this is the first ddlg relationship I've been in. I spent lots of time researching and trying to learn about ddlg. I thought I was doing a good job until about a week ago I noticed she was acting out a lot whenever I would tell her it's bedtime or whenever I would act like a Daddy in general. So I asked her what was up and she told me that she's never been happy with me as a Daddy because I'm repetitive with nicknames and how I treat her overall. I have put so much love and time into her (and her stuffies <3). I don't want this to end badly. I could seriously use advice and helpful articles to read from everyone that has the time.
lilsnoopy Posted December 5, 2016 Report Posted December 5, 2016 It seems like you've been trying very hard to be a good daddy which is exactly what a daddy should do. Its... kind of on her for not telling you sooner? or helping guide you to what she needs? Not to like give blame just saying it doesn't seem like you've done anything wrong so don't be too hard on yourself. Especially since you're trying to be a good daddy her comment seems rude. As for the advice part: here is a link to a lot of ideas for nicknames other littles have liked to be called: https://www.ddlgforum.com/topic/14444-what-lil-like-to-be-called/?hl=nicknames#entry77674 I personally have been liking baby bear, babydoll, and lo (short for lolita) but she might have a list of things she wants to be called you should probably ask. I can't tell you how to treat your little. Every little is different. Browsing the site might help give ideas but only she knows what she really wants. Ask her, talk to her about her needs, or what she wants in a daddy. That would be the best way to adapt exactly to what she needs you to be. Also keep in mind any transition you make will probably be gradual over time it's not like tomorrow you'll be the prefect, has the world figured out daddy. It takes time but if she loves you as much as you obviously love her she should wait for you. 1
