Alternatives to Pacifers

HI guys! So I am a little with an oral fixation but because I still live with my family who doesn't know I'm little I can't buy/have a binky. An easy alternative would be to suck my thumb however I am in the process of trying to break the habit of biting my nails so I have terrible tasting nail polish on to do so. Please help!

Lollipops would be my suggestion...maybe even one of those fake ones.

I would say lollipops would be a good choice but could very quickly lead to cavities ! Hehe.

Something else I would suggest , (not sure if it would work) could be to take apart a binky/pacifier.. and to only use the nipple part of it. This way the binky part isn't exposed but you can still suck/chew on something knowing it is little based. And this way , when you do get alone time you could easily put it back together to be a normal binky/pacifier once again.

This is such an interesting question , I had to ask my Daddy for back up ideas..

He is adamant about a mouth guard -___- You could also try chewing on gum , or other foods that have a really chewy consistency like breads. Bagels mostly.

I hope this helps :)

I enjoy ring pops as well, when not sucking my thumb. Cavities is a huge issue. Recently I bought all natural breath mints, I enjoy sucking them and rolling them around on my tongue.

Lollipops and suckers. Chewing gum. Hard candies like jaw breakers and jolly ranchers. Mints. Chewy gummie candies, like noworlaters or star bursts. I like to suck on chewy candies or sometimes even gum when I don't or can't have my binkie around. Sometimes I end up chewing on coins and stuff, but I wouldn't suggest this, I'm trying to stop that habbit lol

I got a really cute teething necklace. If you look on etsy there are lots that are cute but not too over the top childish so won't look weird to family members.
