I would get the ends cut off (if it was me ) you can try deep hair mask or coconut oil (personally thats too mess for me )

It's a 10 products work really well for my hair. (I have natural dark brown thick hair ) and Aussie's 3 minute miracle conditioner works wonders and is cheap.

I used to bleach my hair a lot and dye it random colors and that always worked for me

I've dyed and bleached my hair quite a bit and I advise lots of conditioner and maybe some hair masks. Cut off the bad parts, and avoid bleach or hair dye or anything that's gonna heat up your hair like straighteners or curlers or blow dryers cause they'll hurt your hair even more.

I have really curly/wavy hair so I go the no 'poo route for myself.  I color my hair a couple times a month and ever since I stopped using shampoo and started using higher quality conditioner my hair has stopped being frizzy and unhealthy looking. I've been doing it for a year now and I will never go back!  I also don't brush my hair anymore. Having wavy/curly hair just turned it into a puff ball. So now I use my fingers or a wide mouth pick.

Hello~

Local friendly  hair stylist here~

I also color my own hair pretty often.

first step to healthy hair is to make sure you get the split ends trimmed off.

Don't get suckered into getting a "deep conditioning" treatment at the salon, the secret to those, is there's no secret. We take regular conditioner and just stick it on your head and add heat. They just put it in a special bottle.

Now for at home, first thing to do is take good care of your scalp, when shampooing, only put the shampoo at your scalp where the oils collect, when you rinse it, it will take the oils from the rest of the hair.

To do your own at home conditioning treatment take your condition that you already have, place it on the hair avoiding the scalp, that just puts all the oils you rinsed out of your pores right back into them, and will damage any new hair that is growing out. leave it in for three minutes, or if you want to do a "salon styled" treatment place a shower cap on and use a blow dryer to heat it, leave it in the hair for 20 minutes then rinse.

Now for out of the shower treatments, there's a number of products you can use. my personal favorite is a product called "whipped cream" it's a conditioning whip. There are generic versions of these that can be picked up for cheaper prices as well, I have compiled a list of links of the exact items that i use

also avoid using heat on your hair, towel drying your hair, and air drying are the best things you can do for it.

I have the worst frizz known to man! I have curly kinky thick red hair. Pure ginger fro! I heat straighten my hair pretty much daily and it did a ton of damage. Now, having carrot too hair is not an option for me so I can't not heat style! I tried the No Poo and even after 8-9 months my hair looked like a limp greasy pizza box. For some people it's amazing...for me no Gouda. I tried that Wen stuff and it was amazing! But again..thick mass of hair and at $40 a bottle I had a hard time justifying it. Now, I just steer clear of sulfates. I don't wash my hair every day (I still shower obviously, ew.) And I throw an all natural mask Avocado mask on my hair once a week which is literally 1/3 cup full fat milk, 1 ripe avocado, 3 tablespoons of honey, 1 egg all blended in a blender until it's like conditioner texture and I slather that into my hair and leave for 30 minutes. If you have a shower cap and a hair dryer you can heat it up too which makes it even better! It does wonders for super dry damaged hair!

Apply coconut oil to your hair at night and wrap it with something cotton. Wash out in the morning. You can also try the reverse washing thing (condition first, then shampoo). But I have had the best results by far with Suavecita argen silkening serum. I use it after every shower and even the bleached ends of my hair feel silky and soft! Just like the others, I do recommend getting a trim, too. Including a link to the suavecita stuff I am talking about!

I've been dying my hair scents I was 10. And people are always asking me questions about how I take care of my hair.

"Hot" oil treatments, avocado oil and coconut oil are really good for your hair.

Ion hair repair treatments(or other like bands, I like Ion best out of the ones I've tried)

Use anit breakage shampoos and conditioners.

Use the blondest blonde instead of bleach. The platinum blondes will whiten just like bleach, however it's better for your hair than the bleach is. They normally will come with special treatment shampoo and conditioner. I dye my hair bright colors like hot pink and neon green, I the blonde kits don't leave your hair quite as straw or hay the way bleach does.

If your dyeing another color after wise, make sure to wait at least one day! A week is best for hair. Make sure to treat your hair after to lighten it. I like to use a oil treatment, a moisturizing treatment and then to leave my antibreakage/strengthening conditioner in for about 15 20mintues.
