I think the most important thing to keep in mind as your experimenting with any part of your life is to be honest with everyone involved, be realistic with your goals and abilities, and be kind to yourself. Things aren't always going to go right the first time, but being able to be honest with both yourself and any of your partners is key to progressing forward at a good pace.
