Guest Lil' Sonos ツ Posted November 14, 2016 Report Posted November 14, 2016 Just a random question really, but I am curious to which medium everyone would suggest using? I've never personally had either. but Basic television is getting so well. You know basic.. I've have burnt YouTube up to the point I avoid the Y on my keyboard is annoying to look at! (sarcasm) But.. what would you, guys & girls suggest? Netflix or Hulu? I am running out of stuff to watch!
Aaleayha Posted November 14, 2016 Report Posted November 14, 2016 I have Netflix. I've borrowed it a couple times. And I only recently got it myself a couple months ago. And I've never had Hulu. I do wish I could try Hulu though. Netflix has a lot of great shows but sometimes it feels a little limited when I look for something. I don't know how much Hulu may have that Netflix doesn't.But Netflix is much better then basic cable! No commercials and you can just binge-watch.
DaddyBlaze1 Posted November 14, 2016 Report Posted November 14, 2016 I prefer Netflix for the older shows and movies, but Hulu for new shows and big series'.
Guest Lil' Sonos ツ Posted November 14, 2016 Report Posted November 14, 2016 Television series isn't a huge deal, If I really wanted to watch them I can goto a friends for a tv night but no commercials is a major plus!
Guest Kitty_kat19912 Posted November 14, 2016 Report Posted November 14, 2016 Well I have Netflix and I enjoy it there aren't any commercials and they are always adding new movies and shows. I had Hulu before and I liked it to a point but the commercials were crazy it's pretty much like cable but you can't fast forward thru the commercials. Hopes this helps you out a little. 1
Spooky Posted November 14, 2016 Report Posted November 14, 2016 If you are only getting one, I would say Netflix But Hulu is great because they play new episodes of tv shows as they air. Def want to get the ad free version though!
stargirl Posted November 14, 2016 Report Posted November 14, 2016 I had both, and chose to keep only Netflix.
PrincessClara Posted November 14, 2016 Report Posted November 14, 2016 I have both and use them both regularly. Hulu has some commercials but they aren't many and usually only last 30 seconds, which is great compared to televisions 5+ minutes of commercials. Netflix has usually got a limited selection of things while Hulu is more up to date and has more variety. We don't have live TV and we honestly don't miss it except for for things like live sporting events, which you can usually stream on YouTube anyway!
Sirsumwun Posted November 15, 2016 Report Posted November 15, 2016 I use Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and HBO Go I would suggest Both netflix and Hulu, but if you have to choose then it comes down to movies or TV. Netflix is better for Movies and Hulu is better for recent TV It's that simple.
Guest Lil' Sonos ツ Posted November 15, 2016 Report Posted November 15, 2016 I am not a fan of ads, commercials. Like I avoid them at all cost and I am not going to pay for a service that has ads.. so I think I am going to lean more Netflix
Guest Lil' Sonos ツ Posted November 16, 2016 Report Posted November 16, 2016 I have kodi and a lot 3rd party streaming but i only use it when in An at work or something Netflix doesn't go against my mobile data, so I'm gonna give the trial a how and see how it pans out.
Guest OverDaddy'sKnee Posted November 21, 2016 Report Posted November 21, 2016 (edited) Both are great platforms, but if I had to choose one, it would be Hulu. I like that the recent episodes of shows I'm into are usually available within a day of airing on TV. Edited November 21, 2016 by OverDaddy'sKnee
Guest Lil' Sonos ツ Posted November 22, 2016 Report Posted November 22, 2016 Well you can watch Hulu for free for new stuff from my understanding.
princesschibi Posted November 29, 2016 Report Posted November 29, 2016 I've been with Netflix for years so I have a bit of a bias to it. Tho I think HULU has more recent shows/airings.
