Anxiety about a new relationship

Hi all!

I just started seeing someone new. He's a Daddy Dom and he's wonderful. At the same time he also has been with a lot of women in the past. He also is really involved in local kink community.

I know that he's clean and single at least for now. Also he says we're exclusive. But I'm scared he's lying.

I'm trying to decide how much I should trust him. I'm scared he'll cheat. Part of me wants to just say never mind or say we should be casual.

I just can't decide what to do and I really like him.

How long have the two of you been talking? Do you know if he has cheated in the past? Have you been cheated on in the past and you're afraid it will happen again? I can't tell if this worry is because you don't know him well enough yet, if he has said anything to make you suspicious, or if this is your own personal (yet understandable) hang-up.

I think it is mostly me. It's just really hard because I'm so afraid of being hurt.
