Wynardtage Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 The feeling that something is wrong with you will fade once you meet likeminded people that enable you to just be yourself. It's easy online and a little harder irl, but it will be worth it. It's also a great trait that you are able to notice beforehand if someone would be healthy for you to have as a Daddy or not instead of rushing into things head over heels and ending up getting hurt 1

It's easy online and a little harder irl, but it will be worth it. It's also a great trait that you are able to notice beforehand if someone would be healthy for you to have as a Daddy or not instead of rushing into things head over heels and ending up getting hurt We did not have a healthy relationship. He lied, he abused... But we have a connection that you don't find often. I didn't know who else to talk to. I still love him, and he likes to take care of me and one night I called him daddy. It felt.. Nice. But I'm too scared of being as hurt as I was when we were together. Even despite everything in the past, I feel safe with him. He's just helping me learn about who I am. I hope I'm not making a mistake...
SassyAssyBrat Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 *using my very best big girl voice* First, WELCOMES! Second, I am still pretty new (only about a year in) to the Dd/lg community, so I am still fresh with the feelings you are experiencing. You are not alone, and there are lots and lots and lots of people just like you here. Ask lots of questions, read lots and lots of the posts, and just dive in. Hearing what others are thinking and feeling, and how they explain and live their Dd/lg lifestyle always seems to help me make better sense of how I feel about it and about myself. Third, If you didn't have a healthy relationship the first go round, I would be extremely careful this time. I generally tend not to go back where I've already gone. And lastly, Feel free to send me a friend request and message me anytime. ttfn, Jen 1
stargirl Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 You have a friend in me. You don't have to keep unhealthy people in your life because they offer you a sense of support.
TheyCallMeNewb Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 (edited) If he was abusive than he might not be the best person to have bring you into the lifestyle. I'm not saying this like run away as fast as you can I more a less mean........ I dont know I fear he might not give the best advice but I dont know him and you say you are safe so...... get advice from more than one person, research from websites I know of a few good one from experienced older couples in the lifestyle and learn from both sides Daddys and littles both. I've literally been on this site one day and already I think i'll learn from a lot of members who will hopefully become my friends. Edited November 9, 2016 by Newberlindaddy727

You're not alone and people here are very supportive I'm glad you didn't get into a bad relationship, ddlg is all built on trust. You'll meet someone great
