Are you in a long distance DDlg relationship?

If so, or if you have been, what are some successful tools or systems that have worked for you? Basically any advice will help, but I need creative ideas to keep things fresh. Please and thank you!

Daddy and i have been in a LDR for a year. I am far from an expert but here are some thing we do and use

 

We use a bunch of apps:

Couple

Wunderlist

Glide

Skype (or other video app)

Life 360

Tumblr

 

These apps help us feel more intimatelt connected to each other.

 

We also use google docs. We both have our own journal folder that we use to write in about anything and everything. We have access to each others journals so we can understand each other better. It has opened up a new level of trust and communication i never thought possible.

We share a youtube account.

 

There are rules and rituals in place just like a local relationship. I'm expected to be 100% honest of i break a rule. Tattling on myself is not easy sometimes!

 

Daddy also has my passwords to all of my social media accounts.

 

We have a designated "Our day" where its understood that thats our day to video chat aaaall day. It helps me not get pouty during the work week when we're busy lol

 

Daddy mails me cards which i LOVE. Hes also mailed me a shirt of his that i wear every night.

Yesterday was the first time we (fussynugget ^ and I) successfully used rabb.it to watch a movie together and video chat at the same time, OMFG it was MAGIC! I highly recommend it!
