I like sucking/chewing on things. My paci helps so I don't chew on random things like my pens lol. It also helps me sleep at night. I often wake up with it in my hand tho lol

My binkie helps me in a lot of ways. It helps with my depression and anxiety, when I'm stressed or feeling over whelmed. It helps with separation anxiety, feeling lonely and issues of abandonment. I also have a bit of a oral fixation, I like to chew and bite, I also have a problem with just "holding" things in my mouth without chewing or sucking. I find myself placing lose change, pen caps, paper clips, all kinds of things in my month without thinking about it or even really noticing most the time. A lot of the time, I want my binkie just because I want my binkie, and it's that simple lol Pretty much everything except to make myself feel Little. I don't need to make myself feel Little. ((Not that there is anything wrong with that!))

Hello ! Just stating the obvious: The paci gets you back to this time were you were so relaxed and satisfied to the point of falling asleep; I think it's been proven that babies have a rush of endomorphin. Do you know cats ? If so you have noticed the move they make with their two front paws when, say, you are cuddling the animal. Grown-up cats do this; It's the moove they were making to draw milk from their mother.

For me it's mostly relaxation when I'm stressed or angry,

gives me something to think about other than whatever is making me upset!

It's very calming and comforting, makes me feel little immediately although I feel quite shy about it. If I fall asleep with my dummy I often find it buried under a pillow or half way down my bed in the morning.
