Hey! I really enjoy soap making and wondered if anyone else here does too, and might like to talk shop? Also it would be great if anyone had tips on increasing lather without reducing hardness?

I use to make soaps, I recently closed shop because it was hemorrhaging money and not going anywhere. 

 

To increase lather, get some vegetable glycerin and add it a little at a time until you find the consistency/lather results you are looking for. You can buy it on amazon of course

I've never added gylcerine, I might give that a whirl.

oh my goodness i love making soap try adding sugar but make sure the lye is completely melted i also needed help with the a few weeks ago

Oh! Making soap would be so much fun! I always really enjoyed the lush soapies but they can get a bit expensive, I think making them yourself is cheaper?
