But plants also fluoresce, which means when they reflect ultraviolet light, they emit longer wavelengths visible to the human eye. It’s the same thing that happens with a black-light poster. These photos capture the glow from plants that humans can’t see, but that are always there. 5

Captured with a Nikon D810 and a long-exposure method, Michael was able to photograph the limestone cave’s beauty. The results are viewed as a majestic, neon starry night indoors. 2
