New friends?

Why is it sooooo many send friend requests then never talk to you after you add them? I don't post much and there's nothing on my page that shows anything about me really so there isn't much reason to add me unless you really want to talk to someone...I just want a couple really good friends instead of a list of hundreds of strangers that only added me cuz of common interest. I don't need it to be specifically caregivers or littles to be my friends cuz there's much more to me than just being little/pet so I'm open to all kinds of friends if anyone wants to take the time to say more than hi after I accept your friend request

nobody special? Everyone is special in some way so maybe you should be nice to yourself and give yourself a more fitting name ♡

 

I totally see your frustration with the lack of interaction with someone after becoming friends with them....especially if they've wanted to be friends with you....even a like of a post or something would be nice.. otherwise why be friends?! But that's just me thinking from my mindset as I'm quite friendly and chatty so it's easy for me to interact.

I always send a thank you message when someone accepts my friend request as I think its just good manners but I was surprised to see noone sent one back when I excepted theirs.... but I brushed it off cos not everyone is as chatty and some can be shy so I sent them a message saying hello..... nearly all replied but not all. So anyone who doesn't interact with me gets the chop.... otherwise I'd end up with lots of ppl on my friends list I don't know! It might sound harsh but I only want to be friends with ppl who don't blank my messages....hehe

 

If I may add a bit of advice that I've found to be true to life in general... personally I find that the more open and inviting you are to others the more you attract the same back... obviously we need to protect our privacy and stay safe but I still think you can let ppl get an idea of you as a person but still protect yourself.

 

Obviously it's totally up to you and maybe your not comfortable with it but perhaps if you wrote a bit about yourself in your profile or shared things your interested in and put up a cutie pic on ur profile ppl might find it easier to approach you (in an online way ) and contact you. It's merely a suggestion so I hope you don't mind me saying that.....everyone is different (the world would be boring if not)

It seems that we live in an age where quantity is more important to people than quality. A lot of people feel better about themselves when they have a bunch of friends on any given social media site. People have come here for a variety of reasons. Personally I think making that clear on your profile could help.
