Hannah Posted October 14, 2016 Report Posted October 14, 2016 I’ve always struggled with people accepting my weirdness. I am a very open little, and sometimes i showed up to class wearing little clothes and my sippy cup as my water bottle. Yes people laughed and called me a freak and said that i needed to go back to PRE-K. At first their words really hurt and I became depressed. Then one day a girl in my class showed up wearing little clothes, and she had a paci and a sippy cup. We soon became best friends and stood up for each other when we were picked on. We even found other littles and daddies at our High School. Moral of the story is people are assholes and are going to hate no matter what. It’s just how people like that are, and many end up losers in the real world. In fact one of the girls that picked on us now is flat broke, isn’t in college, and will more than likely work at McDonald’s for the rest of her life. We may feel that we need acceptance, but truth be d we don’t. We all just need to trust in what you believe and be yourself, everyone else is already taken. 6
Guest trustlove Posted November 5, 2016 Report Posted November 5, 2016 Our authentic self is the real we that is beyond all of those conditioned beliefs and thinking patterns that we have accumulated throughout our life. To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself. ~Thich Nhat Hanh

So wonderful to hear a story like this. I was like you I'd take my binkie to school with me, wear the cutest clothes and always have pigtails. Then on top of that I was that "weird gothic girl" in and all hick school. I got bullied alot too, I wasn't lucky enough to find other Littles per-say, but I did find my best friend. It's great to hear about people how are brave enough to be true to themselves! and banding together
