got a adult paci but still not working out?

i got my first adult size paci today in the mail and I'm not sure it's working out? it was a cheap one so im not like upset about it. I'm just trying to figure out what works for me. it's supposedly a Nuk 6 size nipple. 

i was glad that it was bigger

but maybe it's still not big enough? long enough? I think I have a bigger than average mouth.

also the nipple was very soft and flimsy and the air would come out and it's really flat?

 

I like sucking on my Daddy's thumb and it feels fine

so I'm wondering if there's a different paci i should try, if anyone can help me, thanks :<

Hmmmm... I don't know about adult, I myself use toddler sized. However maybe you should try a different style of nipple. Binkies have many different nipple styles, so maybe a different style would fit your month better?

thanks boo, i'm hoping someone with more experience than me will be able to point me in some direction as I no absolutely nothing about this, I only just used a paci for the first time recently. 

I got a toddler one while i waiting for the adult one in the mail. 

I like the harder nipple on the small one. but it's too small to keep a hold of comfortably for long periods.

 

I used the adult one last night and it stayed in my mouth a lot better while i was asleep, but i still think the nipple is just too short and flat, it does't feel nice to suck on. like i need more to keep a hold of.

Oh I see what you're saying. Yeah, I usually don't sleep with my binkie cause it falls out while I'm asleep. I can nap with it for a little while, but when I actually try to sleep sleep it will fall out after awhile. I'm pretty sure this happens because I'm asleep and my jaw is relaxed, however I've always used binkies (even thou my parents tried to stop me) and this has always happened to me. ((even as a baby my binkie would fall out while I was alseep)) It might just be something like this... I'm sorry I couldn't be more help, I hope someone who knows more about adult sizes will help you out

Nuk 5 is a little short I think too. 

 

Adult Pacifier have soft nipple ...  I do not know one different than that.

 

I got a new pacifier yesterday... feels a little bit Longer than my Nuk 5 .. I'll use it for a couple of days and I'll tell you what I think.  It is chinese.

 

It is clearly not the same than sucking a finger.. big difference in the taste and texture... hihi...  I dont see how you can get a texture like that with a Paci.

I recommend ordering from either Little Baby Big Playpen on Etsy OR Onesies Down Under adult pacis (links below.) These will not fully deflate while using. The Little Baby Big Playpen ones do not deflate at ALL, and the Onesies Down Under ones only slightly deflate so you can keep a nice rhythm while in use.

Prices are low, shipping cost is low, and arrival time for Wisconsin in the USA from Australia was a week exactly. Nipple will deflate slightly, but never fully from my experience.
