Guest QueenJellybean Posted September 30, 2016 Report Posted September 30, 2016 "Yes, but have you communicated?" I know, I know, it's my slogan. But it really does ring true. Sit down and have a serious conversation. Tell him the things you want. If you have trouble with that, use something like Tumblr to show him would be helpful. You can also try journaling, which really helps if you can't say the things you want out loud.
Guest ZenDD Posted September 30, 2016 Report Posted September 30, 2016 You seem to have some trouble being clear regarding your communication with him, so it's quite possible that you may not be clear about what aftercare means to you and what aftercare actions you specifically need. Maybe you guys need to listen to each other's definitions of the terminology you're using so that you can get on the same page regarding your interpretation of DDlg and your particular expectations from your dynamic. As far as not knowing how to talk to him about your deepening interest, show him your post here. After all, you've been able to articulate with us here what you need from him. Set a time where both of you can speak without interruption or without being pressed for time, and share your feelings openly and honestly. This technique isn't specific to DDlg either. It works for everything.
