Hello everypony! I don't know about you cuties but always look at the kids section or toddler clothes and pout that I can't wear them. I fit some things in the tween section but not a huge amount, and I know that's just not a possibility for others at all, and it makes me sad! SO, I'm actually studying fashion design at the moment and since summer is coming up in a few months and I'm gonna have a bunch more time on my hands with no classes on, I'm going to devote it to making little clothes! >:3

So I was just wondering, what kind of little clothes do you wish you could find? There's people who do lots of amazing accessories and tees and onesies, but I'm thinking more about things you could wear while going out on adventures as well as while playing in private.

So far I'm thinking lots of things in cute pastels, pinafore dresses, things with peter pan and sailor collars, lots of ruffles and that kind of thing because that's what I like, but I'd love to hear more ideas. I'd love to hear from little boys and non-binary littles as well, because everyone deserves cute things that make them feel happy :D

Firstly, I've got to say how much I love what you're doing! I think it will turn out amazing all your clothes and accessories you make.

For me personally, textures and patterns in clothing are something that make me feel little. For example, fluffy and fuzzy stuff, little pom poms and tassels, ruffles. Especially when I'm shopping ( I think I'm not alone in this) but I love touching and feeling the clothes.

As for clothing pieces, like you said pinafores, playsuits, swishy skirts, items with patches on, pom pom earrings, dresses with a lot of under layers, dungarees hehe thats a few I can think of

https://www.lazyoaf.com/   is a website I really like that has these aspects that make me feel little if you need a visual idea.

Hope everything goes well. I would love to see what you come up with  :)

I would just love things that are made for my size. It is nearly impossible to find plus size "little" clothes. Like....not everyone is a size 0 and 5'9" tall. I'm short and fat and it's so hard to find clothes for me.

I've seen drawn out clothing (like sketches and stuff) that I wish existed. They're drawn designs are amazing but I can never find the exact thing

Exactly! I'm a 3x and only 5'4" it's fairly impossible to find little clothes in my size. I've seen some cute onsies at OnsiesDownUnder but that's about it, unless you want to pay an arm and a leg to find someone who might make you something custom :/

Losing weight helped me with that problem. So many doors opened up clothing wise.

Personally, I'd like a onesie with a buttflap.

Because that's just the easiest option for everyone. I have PCOS, which makes losing weight extremely difficult. Do you even think before you respond to people? I've seen a lot of unpleasant posts by you in the forums.

It's the way you say things, you have zero tact. Also, it's not an excuse. I have tried many diets and exercise plans and various medications and lifestyle changes. Some people just don't have luck with those means. Every body is different and just because you and others have luck with it, doesn't mean that everyone will.

Okay, friend. =)

If that's something that worked for you that's fine and I'm happy for you, but you just can't make a blanket statement invalidating other people's experiences like that, it just isn't kind.

Maybe I didn't mention it enough in my original post but accessibility and body positivity are really important and we should all be supporting and empowering each other as we are, ok?

I would love to see skirts that have the spin factor, the twirl factor- know what I mean? So you can twirl around in them! And you could take big t-shirts and take them in at the sides to accomodate all different sizes, I know lots of littles who love a big comfy tshirt! I would also love to see some dresses too maybe with frills, or sparkly tulle, etc. A ribbon around the waist.

I also think variety in color and size is super important! Pink, black, purple, blue, etc. Nothing too wild, but basic colors. I'm also a very short, plus size little. I shall obviously stand for size equality as well. Price is also important, dont undersell your work- but don't over price. Littles/caregivers may not always have lots of money. So, take into account the market you will have and their income and desires.

I'm tired and emotional so I may think of more ideas later, but for now I think you're heading in the right direction! I hope you stick with it!

Red...you are being very rude. You've said your piece now please stop. I'm sorry if my being plus size is offensive to you...I have worked with my doctor and it s NOT something I can change right now as I am expecting. I have been working my whole life to be smaller but it is NOT possible for everyone. So please...stop....

SpacePrincess, I think it sounds wonderful that you are going to design little clothes and include those of us who are plus size weather it is by choice or because of health reasons. We ALL deserve cute clothes that make us feel good and it means a lot that you want to be sure that there are options for all of us. I would love to see some cute/creepy clothes too. I am a bit more into the creepy cute than just the cutsie stuff personally and I know a lot of littles like me who are into the darker and macabre. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

I am not entirely sure why weight was brought into this.

Besides medical reasons, scientifically (real science, not some crack pot ABC article that is opinionated from celebrities) while yes, you can lose weight, keeping it off is a life long struggle, it all comes down to hereditary genes. More specifically the bacteria in your stomach (which is hereditary for the most part think nature vs. nurture).

Besides even the science behind losing and keeping weight off, it is no ones job to tell someone to lose weight to open new possibilities of clothing, that is borderline abusive and how many ED's are triggered.

Love your body, be happy and proud of who you are. Shaming people or giving unwanted advice, especially after it is made clear said advice is unwanted, is not tolerated.

Thank you mods for stepping in, and thank you for the positive comments everyone, we should always be focusing on the ways we can support each other and empower each other! The big world is mean enough, here of all places we should always feel safe to be ourselves ^^

Back on topic though, this is some great feedback I really appreciate it! It's easy to know what you want, but when it comes knowing what would make other people happy it's always much more straightforward to just ask, hehee :p

I have an impossible time finding the right skirt. Like THE RIGHT ONE. I feel like most of them are either too long or short, or when they're right length I can't find a cute pastel color.

I also adore those overall type skirts, with like the strappy straps, same issues tho ^^

I really wish I could find more affordable plus sized stuff. I mean I'm working on losing weight but even when I weighed 120 lbs I still had DD boobs so I still couldn't fit into all that cute little stuff. :( and for plus size they charge a lot more than smaller sizes, makes me sad. -pouts- I would really like fluffy dresses, onesies, and body suits.
