Thisisme Posted September 24, 2016 Report Posted September 24, 2016 Have you ever had to lose your Caregiver or your little? If so, how did you handle the initial shock and the pain that follows? It's only been a few hours and I already feel like I can't breathe. My world has completely shifted. What do I do?
Daddy's-Lovebites Posted September 26, 2016 Report Posted September 26, 2016 Well. As I have gone through this before, I can tell you that it does hurt. But it does get better. Give it about a week. And if you need anything, let me know somehow.

Guest QueenJellybean Posted September 26, 2016 Report Posted September 26, 2016 I actually just lost my Secondary Caregiver, and I'm going through similar feelings of shit. I know that for me it's assumed that because I'm polyamorous and have another Caregiver that this doesn't hurt as much, but the effects are still devastated. Crumbs on this thread.

Aww I'm sorry Belle! That's balls! Op, the only thing that helps is time. Don't fight it - go thru the motions! If the same grief process as having someone pass away and the process is part of healing! Best of luck!
