I know I'm not the only one that runs to a treat when they are feeling stressed. I've been super stressed lately with trying to find a new apartment for my move this winter and my go-to item has been PEANUT BUTTER. Crunchy, of course! There's something about it that makes me feel like a little and I have been going through jars like it's my job. At least it's decently healthy. ;D

What are some comfort foods that you gravitate towards more when you're feeling stressed out by the Big world?

For small stress.. I'd say Cookies!

For bigger stress..  I like Pasta... When I'm stressed I cook myself spagetti  .. Like I used to eat when I was a kid.

I also like a bowl of good soup... Chicken soup or Inions soup .....   :) ...

Grilled cheese, fruits cut into little bit sized bits. Sweet stuff lol

Not sure if hot tea is seen as little but it always helps me feel more chilled out.

It's a little bit weird but apple slices in honey or peanut butter are the best :) Also frozen grapes and frozen slices of orange!

(Tbh also anything peach....I'm trash)

I usually get small fruit bowls, small crackers, hot chocolate with whipped cream and mini marshmellows! (But Daddy has to blow on it so I don't burn my tongue)

If I want something for lunch or dinner I usually get tomato soup or spaghetti!

Mac n cheese, pb&j dunked in milk, scrambled eggs, minute rice and pasta. Any of those improve my mood x10 whenever I need it

Cocoa is always comforting for me. I have a huge stockpile of different kinds. Even when I am not feeling very little cocoa calms me down. Not a food, but yeah.

Macaroni and cheese, but only the shells when I'm sad.

Hot dogs cut into octopus shapes.

Dinosaur chicken nuggets.

Lunchables, the pizza ones specifically.

Sugar cookies, the kind you make from the cold section of the supermarket and usually change by season and holiday.

Egg sandwiches.

Grilled cheese, cut in fours.

Pink Drink from Starbucks.

Lavender and Honey tea.

Cookies and candy! Also apple juice is my drink of choice when I'm down.

I was going to make this topic but found this one. Thanks lilybell for making it.

Hopefully the OP won't mind me bringing this one back up and non littles chiming in.

I think after the last year we could all use some comfort food and there are some good ones here.

I have always gone for

mashed potatoes and gravy

grilled cheese

pastina and cheese

biscuits and white gravy (American buttermilk biscuits not British biscuits to be clear)

and my latest go to is elotes or Mexican street corn

My favourite foods ever are the different fruit purees sold in tiny glass jars, meant for babies. They are absolutely delicious, and it’s not a disaster if I end up eating several of them since they have no added sugar or anything bad, they’re basically just fruit :) They are perfect for both Little and Big time, and even better than any candy! To me they are comfort food, snack, or sometimes even dessert or part of a meal!

In the kids section of my local supermarket are small packs of dried apple crisps... omg, they are lush!!  When i'm feeling small / stressed / in need of snackies (with permission, just in case a certain somebody sees this :p) they are perfect. Portion controlled, healthy, nothing added, but super sweet and crunchy and delicious ^^ They aren't dehydrated like most dried apple, its almost tlike they have been freeze dried, because they stay crunchy, even while you chew them, which, if you've ever eaten dried apples, you'll know is not a pleasant experience >.<

Ice cream!

It really makes me forget about everything and just enjoy every bite, there is a lovely gourmet ice cream shop and they have a tiramisu flavor to die for, all freshly made for the day. I sometimes just try weird flavors XD

I love Mac and cheese and grilled cheese :) it always brings me to littlespace and it tastes incredible. Plus they’re both some of the only things I can make as an independent little ☺️

I like sweet things and anything simple and easy to cook. So mostly junk food XD Dino nuggies are my go to food. Doesn't require a lot of thought to make, it's good for when I want all my bad thoughts to go away.
