im really worried about having pacis. what if one of my friends see it and think it's weird? i suck my thumb but that's different. how do i become more comfy with this?

Just use one in private.  Or get like one of those light up rave ones, and just turn it into a joke among your friends.

aw, well what if you keep it tied to a stuffed animal and that way you can keep track of it better and put it away, when your friends come over, if you notice it out, you can quickly move the stuffy out of sight and it will look like you are just picking up your stuffy and not so obviously hiding your paci

I keep one in my nightstand that I take out when Im home alone.

I do a ton of crap that my friends say is weird - them acknowledging that and still loving you is kinda part of the job description in being someone's friend.

 

If you're uncomfortable then yea - nightstand, cupboard or get a paci box! There's some freaking adorable decoden ones on etsy.

Oh!  I Like the Idea of a Paci Box! .. I can put my binkie in it when I don't want it! .. 

 

If you suck your thumb it would be better for your teeth if you have the right Pacifier for you... 

 

If you're shy about it you can hide it ..  But if you are a Little, maybe some of your friends would not be surprised to see a Paci in your room? With your stuffies and all ..  

 

 

I think I had no pacifier for only 10 years in my life... otherwise I always had one. ! .. I Like it ..

I usually keep my binkie on me at all times. If I'm out and about it's almost surely in my pocket. ((However, I pretty much never stopped using them lol)) I'd say try not to worry about it. If they are you're friends, then how they feel won't change just cause they see you have a binkie. I use to use my binkie around my friends, I just didn't care what people thought of me. It's my life, not their... However, I've grown up some from that time. I still don't care what people have to say, but I've come to realize it does make some people uncomfortable. If they are really your friends, they won't stop liking you even if they do find it weird. Just remember to also be receiptful of your friends feelings if it does happen to make them uncomfortable. Own it, you like binkies, don't feel shame. Even if it is "weird". There's nothing wrong with being weird. Being different is what makes you yourself
