Break-up Therapy? What do you do to get over it and move on?

There are many posts asking for help with break-ups. 

 

What do you do/have done to get over it and get on with life?

 

For me, besides screaming and crying, I sing at the top of my voice and dance around the house, using a hairbrush as a microphone.

 

I just found Lady Gaga/David Guetta's new song that is now my official break-up song.

It's hard whether you are a little or a Daddy that is for sure!

 

It's like a roller coaster from wanting to forget about it to wanting to drown in it.  To forget it I try to work every minute of overtime available.  Work.  WOrk.  WORK!  Not that this fixes anything but the bigger paycheck allows me to pamper myself a bit more.

 

To drown in it I will watch some sappy old romantic movies.  I am a sucker for those old movies.

Working out and new make up always does the trick....and shoes, yes, new running shoes gets me feeling great. Plus, music like you mentioned as loud as it can go and maybe a coat of sparkly nail polish so that I can admire my nails in kickboxing class.
