BabyGirl32015 Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 Many a time I have been on here and checked and re-checked threads started by people asking for help, and I always sit up at night wondering what ever happened to them. Did their relationship end up fine? Did they just forget about it and move on? Did they find a way to combat their anxiety? What happened?! Responses- Personally, after I have asked fro advise, I try REALLY hard not to just ghost the thread and take the advice. A simple thank you, or even leaving a like can really make a difference when it comes to asking for advice, more people will talk to you and answer your questions if you simply make them feel like they are being heard! I know I love it when I see that someone has liked a post I have made in response to their question, its just feels like I did something to help! Updates- I know you might think that most of us really don't care about what happened with your relationship after you asked us for advice, but really I think there are quite a few of us who would LOVE to hear some more about it, good or bad news. Reading through some of the threads I notice that a lot of people actually love hearing from everyone about how their relationship was mended and things are "going great" with all the sad and depressing things that go on in the world, maybe we SHOULD give someone something to smile about! I know some of you don't want to post thing because you don't want to hurt the feelings of people who are not currently in a relationship, but they like reading about happy couples too, I know I did! Just keep it in mind the next time you go to ask for advice or post something in general, people like followups! 1
Guest Princessaj Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 Ok, I can't stand it anymore. I too look forward to the satisfaction and gratification of being of help. Life is a story. It has many beginnings, a multitude of twists, turns and sub-plots then victorious or disastrous finales. Just like the library. If you check out a book, please return it on time. Gratefully yours. 1
DollDirector Posted September 18, 2016 Report Posted September 18, 2016 I am not going to disagree because last week in "feedback and suggestions", I started the " give us news " thread. I hope when the next update of rules and advice for new members comes, this subject is emphasized; It will help. 1
