Guest Zips Posted September 16, 2016 Report Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) The World As You See It Where is it that I should be? What is it that I should do? I do not understand how to close the gap, Which has grown between me and you. What is it that you see? What is it that you hear? I wish I could pick up arms and fight, The demons that you fear. You wage a grotesque war in your mind Which breaks your soul and turns you blind. You cannot see that I am here, by your bed. If only I could implant the truth in your head. My only regret is not caring more, But whom if not you do I adore? I know where it is that I shall be. I know what it is that I shall do. I shall stay by your side and hold your hand, If eternity reunites me with you. I know what it is that you see. I know what it is that you hear. I shall wage a war all of my own, To keep you very near. Explicitly, I do not give permission for anyone to re-post this poem. I have proof of authorship. This is a poem I wrote about mental illness, and about illness in general. I hope you guys like it, :3 Edited September 16, 2016 by Zips
