Reading this convo made my head hurt. Some of the comments lol wow.

 

While I obviously don't agree with doing anything outside of prior agreements - you shouldnt enjoy your punishment lol. It's a punishment and it's meant to be unpleasant.

 

This is kinda why I so heavily advocate for contracts - not because the contract is going to bind you legally but the process of making it is a very long and detailed discussion of each other's limits. There is no room for crossed wires, no misunderstanding, everything is in black and white (including acceptable punishments) Any Dom worth spit will tell you that submission isn't (well, shouldn't be) blindly given without these kinds of conversations. Negotiation is very important for any BDSM relationship and communication is huge! This is probably why our relationships tend to be longer and less turbulent (seriously, I actually did a paper on it in college lol).

 

I'm super glad you guys worked it out. It sounds like he's probably not a bad guy - just a misunderstanding. Make sure you both discuss what is and isn't acceptable behavior and punishments for both parties! It will definitely prevent these kinds of things I'm the future.

 

Of course - you could just be a good girl and follow your DDs rules to prevent punishment all together lol! It sounds like he just wants to be happy and healthy!
