I made my own collar!

I ordered a collar from kittens playpen which was in the queue for well over 7 months after my waiting time was supposed to be 3, I stopped getting excited and started getting upset and impatient and after emailing them they said it wasn't going to be started on for another month or so, so I started getting upset rather than excited, cancelled it and decided to make my own!

It's a bit rough, but I really love it! And boss thought I had bought it which made me happy!

It just needs some finishing touches like a bell and a tag!

It's realllllly cute! Good job :D

Even though it sucks you didn't get to buy a collar I think it's more special and cool you made your own!

That is adorable! Is the middle part leather? If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the materials? :o

Maybe you could start a little business! Maybe your daddy could help you. It is very cute.

Up close you can see all the stitching which is a bit messy because I did it by hand, but I think it makes it a bit more special to me ^^

Thank you all so much, I'm really proud of myself, maybe one day I'll teach myself to use a sewing machine and have a go at doing some more!

It's beautiful! I love black and pink together! You are right to be proud of yourself, it's made by hand and it's much more personal! ^^

It's amazing! How did you do the bow and the metal attachment?

You did such a great job! It looks really nice.

Sewing with a machine isn't really hard. It can be a little stressful at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun. A lot of craft stores have beginner sewing classes.

For the bow and metal bit, I just sewed the bow on and then attached the metal bit as close under it as I could, it screws together so I had to make a little hole in the collar and push one side through and then just screw the other side on :)

Thank you all so much!!

I'm actually working on making my own as well! Thankfully i have a bit of experience with a sewing machine and can use that to my advantage, and some jewelry making techniques I learned in high-school, but yours is VERY cute! good luck with any other art project you take on!
