Ariel_Anne Posted August 22, 2016 Report Posted August 22, 2016 Hello! I am always wanting to play with makeup and hair in little space but recently I cut 9 inchs of hair off! It was down to my butt and now its just to my collar bones! I miss being able to do cute things like half up half downs, pig tails, braids and such... Do you guys have any ideas for cute little kawaii little space hair styles? http://www.short-haircut.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Cute-Ways-To-Style-Short-Hair.jpg My hair is about this length.....Any ideas?! I always top it off with bows but I want more styles!
Antoinette Posted August 22, 2016 Report Posted August 22, 2016 You could probably still do some low pigtails and maybe even little braids. Small buns maybe? You could always find some cute clips and do different things with them. I'm not sure. My hair is down to my butt, I don't really do anything with it though >.<
Guest Prat Posted August 22, 2016 Report Posted August 22, 2016 Pigtails, ponytails for shoulder length heair, everything else must be braided.
FawnKitten Posted August 22, 2016 Report Posted August 22, 2016 My hair is a similar length to yours, when I want really cute hair I put cute bows/ribbons and hair clips in, sometimes I do french braids, or little buns with the top half of my hair and tie them with cute hair bands! 1
littlelili Posted August 23, 2016 Report Posted August 23, 2016 If it's difficult to wear pigtails or buns how about wearing cute big bows, hairclips, headbands etc... 1
Lil' Miss Dolly Posted August 25, 2016 Report Posted August 25, 2016 My hair is to my shoulders and I rock the sailor moon meatballs most of the time or leave most of it down and pin back the front hair with big floppy bows!
PandaPrincess96 Posted August 25, 2016 Report Posted August 25, 2016 (edited) Hey! My hair's just a little shorter than that and there's tons of stuff I can do with it! I'm still trying to figure out how exactly this website works, but I think I just posted an album titled 'Little Hair' with some pictures of the hairstyles I like to do! But yeah, you can do low pigtails, high pigtails, low braids (I can only braid like 5 or 6 times but its still a braid!) high braids, you can do little pigtails (you know when you only put some of your hair into high pigtails) you can put some of your hair in to a high side pony tail, you could braid that or even do bubble braids! If you put your hair up high (like high pigtails) and some of it falls out, use cute clips to hold it up! My favorite hairstyle is to put half-ish of my hair into a high side ponytail, I rope braid it and end it with a ladybug hair tie, then I put flower clips in my hair and it looks like the ladybug is running up my hair to get the flowers! You can always wear hair clips too, whether your hair is down or up! I hope I helped! Edited August 25, 2016 by PandaPrincess96

Guest Broken Posted August 26, 2016 Report Posted August 26, 2016 My hair is maybe a bit longer but I still can put it in a bun, double braided, pigtail (it falls out most of the time though ) If you have bangs you can tie them back with clips then take some of the hair in the back and pull it in a ponytail
Guest TwinklingSpace Posted August 27, 2016 Report Posted August 27, 2016 You could also get hair extensions. To add length to your hair when you're in little space so you can do what you want with it. I have different colored hair extensions. So some days I wear just pink, blue, red and purple. Or same days I mix them all in. lol.
Guest Littlepup Posted August 28, 2016 Report Posted August 28, 2016 you're hair is same length as mine mostly. I put my hair up in a big clip a lot but that's more for doing errands not little type stuff I can also do little high pig tails with the rest down, cute little low pig tails, very small pony tail, silly on top of head pony tail, and also taking just one layer and putting that up in a pony tail with the rest down. wearing cute bows or flowers is an option too.
Trash Queen Posted August 28, 2016 Report Posted August 28, 2016 I usually keep my hair very short, but with some bangs/fringe. I have headbands I wear a lot which help sparkle it up.
BabyGirl32015 Posted August 30, 2016 Report Posted August 30, 2016 I have pretty short hair for a little, half an inch under my jawline to be exact, and I too have run into the same problem of really knowing what the heck I'm supposed to do with my hair. As of late though, I have been using a bit of jell on the tips of my fingers and raking then through my hair, starting at the roots and following my part. I gives it a little volume and bouncy. they again you can always curl it a little bit and throw some bows in it, that's always a great fallback
LilAngeladri Posted September 12, 2016 Report Posted September 12, 2016 My hair is a tiny bit longer than this. After taking a shower today I had to leave the house with my hair still damp. I took my hair and parted it to both sides . Then I pulled each side to the back and up as if I was going to make high pigtails. Instead of pigtails, I twisted my hair into 2 super cute twirly buns and tied each with a hair tie. It almolst kind of looks like two buns on top of ur head or top/back like. It's super cute !!
Daddy's Sunshine Girl Posted November 16, 2016 Report Posted November 16, 2016 I suggest looking up kpop/ulzzang style hair and makeup or Japanese igari makeup. That's how I do mine when I'm feeling little and I think it looks super cute! http://jmaglovers.weebly.com/uploads/1/3/2/5/13253370/8481902_orig.png
Guest PurpleHaze Posted November 16, 2016 Report Posted November 16, 2016 There are plenty of stuff you could try! 1. Try curling your hair (curls are always cute, and can make the colour of your hair really stand out! and can also make it look thicker and fuller ) A. Try curling it with a chopstick wand for tight spiral curls (tiny sections for tighter curls) B. Try using a Beach wave wand (for loser waves) C. Try washing your hair then dry it off slightly and put in a lose plait like a french or a dutch braid. Then when it dries off take the plait out and you have curls. (If your hair is quite thick try taking smaller sections when plaiting) D. Buy a Diffuser/hot sock hair dryer attachment, go upside down and dry your hair using scrunching motions with your hands and holding the dryer in place, this gives hair volume and makes it super curly. E. Don't have any wands? Learn to curl your hair with straighteners. It is kind of tricky to start with, so grab a small section then put the hair straighter on the hair then straight away start to turn the straightener under and keep turning it until the end (try not to apply to much pressure or you wont be able to move it) then you should have a curl move the curl into place and let it cool down and set before you touch it. Oh if you want volume here start at the root and pull up as you make the curl, if you only want curl and no lift start at the mid lengths to ends. 2. Colour! Now now we tend to be a little bit silly in little space so doing anything permanent on your hair is not a good idea here, however there are some ways around it. A. Hair chalk! it comes in all sorts of colours and is fun and messy to play with, take a small section and colour away! best thing is it will come off with the next shampoo B. Coloured hair extensions! these are fun and cheap too. Take a small section and clip them in. Watch out! Make sure to read any warnings about heat, before using anything with heat! C. Coloured sprays Similar to Chalk, they will temporally coat the cuticle with colour until the next wash. There are also glitter sprays too! (the best shampoo to use to get this stuff out is an anti dandruff one) 3. Wigs Wigs are great as they come pre styled/coloured but can be more expensive and can be quite itchy and hot. A. Try to buy an expensive wig, not only will they last longer they also nicer to the touch (be less itchy) and you may be able to style it Remember to watch out for any warnings about heat and heat temperature before using heat. B. Buy a wig with a lace front these are more cooling and blend in with the skin better. C. Buy a cool mesh wig cap ( these help to keep your head cooler) D. if the wig gets tangled BADLY use fabric softer comb it through (with a wide tooth comb) then leave it over night and wash it off in the morning. E. Buy a wig stand. these are cheap and help keep your wig from getting tangled when not in use, 4. Accessories. These are really cute. But you have to be careful as you can damage the hair quite easily. Tips and tricks A. Clips, remember to smooth out any tangles in the hair first. Try to place it so that when you take the clips out, you dont also rip some of your hair out at the same time. Clips wont stay in your hair? Ensure first you are placing the clip in the right way, also opening bobby or Kirby style clips out, then placing them in your hair can make them loose. So try to not open them as wide. Next if the clip really wont stay in try spraying it with hair spray then placing the clip in. Another tip if you have hair that is very soft and too silky try backcombing the section to give the clip a base to hold it in place. (To backcomb you can use a small comb, a backcombing brush or your fingers. Hold the section of hair straight up then place your tool just a little bit away from the roots then push the hair down to the root. Please don't do this too much. Clip is tangled Childrens clips are funny shapes so they will snag and tangle in hair. 1. Dont panic 2. use a de-tangler spray 3. use a conditioner (leave it on for a few minutes then it should come out) PopBands These are hair bobbles that wont leave a kink in your hair and come in many colours also they can be worn as a bracelet afterwards. They are for everyone Hair bands Ensure headbands are not pulling your hair back too tightly, as this can damage the hair. Try to get adult sized ones, you don't want to squeeze your head now! No matter how cute it is XD if your head band is too adult like you can try customizing to look more cutesy. Now I could go into more detail about specific hair styles here. >_< But I wont unless Anyone would like me too. I would also like to go more in depth about makeup looks as well that would match certain hair styles and looks. But again I wont unless anyone would like me too
Willa14 Posted November 17, 2016 Report Posted November 17, 2016 (edited) Purplehaze I would like you to... I'm not so great with the makeup lol. That would be great! Ariel_Anne you could try waterfall braiding. It helped me grow out a partial shave Its basically braiding down against your head, and it can be done in lots of cute shapes & directions..
