Guest annemarie Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 (edited) this is not a topic for anyone who is anti-feminist. i made this topic for other feminists, who don't understand the anti-feminist movement and want to talk about why it exists. or rather wonder why it exists. my personal theories are brainwashing by the patriarchal world we live in, misunderstanding the movement, and thinking that there is no misogyny in the world to begin with (fun fact: that's false). so yeah. any other fed up feminists that are really sick of people telling them their movement means nothing and thereby invalidating their experiences with misogyny, racism, ableism, homophobia, and other such things? other topics of potential conversation about the problems in the movement: terfs, white feminism, MRAs, etc. oh for anyone who came to this thinking it was for anti-feminists: feminism is about making sure everyone is free and has equal opportunities because whether you believe it or not we do not currently live in that world. Mathilda-Chan Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 Hello ! I've been very upset when I noticeed all the "Anti-feminist" videos on youtube, but I think girls standing for "anti feminism" just don't understand that we still need feminism today, and that it's just NOT a movement standing for the supremacy of women on men, but EQUALITY ! I mean, how can someone can be against equallity between the genders ? Feminism is just misunderstood and distorted by awfull stereotypes, and turn into "evil thing made by selfish woman hating on man" It's very, very sad 1
Guest Olderdaddyca Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 The problem is that most women do not understand what the radical feminists are doing to your sex....
Mathilda-Chan Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 The problem is that most women do not understand what the radical feminists are doing to your sex.... What do you mean by "radical feminists ?"
Guest annemarie Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 The problem is that most women do not understand what the radical feminists are doing to your sex.... um if you think it's turning us all into lesbians, that's kinda homophobic and please go away. i didn't create this topic to, again, be invalidated by men who think they know everything about feminism when they've never bothered to try understanding it from a feminist's perspective.
Guest annemarie Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 (edited) What do you mean by "radical feminists ?" it basically means hardcore feminist. in man terms it means "someone who wants to spoil my fun by calling me out on my sexism". i don't like the term radfem because it has a lot of nasty connotations that come with it like transphobia (terfs or trans-exclusionary radical feminists) and white feminism (caring only about the struggles of white women rather than women of color as well, who have it A LOT worse) Edited August 21, 2016 by annemarie

There is no such thing as equal opportunity for anyone regardless of their chromosomes. Money, intelligence, social status/connections, country, and hard work determine what you can have in life. The fact that you can express yourself as a woman is proof you don't live in a patriarchy. Try expressing yourself in Pakistan and come back here and tell us about it. Men and women have it pretty good here. 1
Guest Olderdaddyca Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 (edited) So like a true radical anyone who tries to have a calm conversation about the plight of the human race is labeled as anti your cause. where I work 7 out of 10 of the top executives are female and are doing a great job for equal pay. Not because they are female because they know how to do the job. So take your hate of men somewhere else Edited August 21, 2016 by Olderdaddyca
