What do you Write about?

So, I'm someone who LOVES to write, I mostly write fan fiction and my fan fiction is broad. It covers musicals, movies, stories, books, TV shows, Anime, video games, I write pretty much anything. I like to write my own stories as well (although I'm not very good at it), I love to RP and tell a story, and I love to write poetry.

I also make posters and draw from time to time, but writing for me is a GREAT release and it sorta gets me into a focus mode.

I was wondering if anyone was in the same boat. Why do you write? What do you write about? Anything your favorite to write about?

oh man. that's a loaded question.

i will write anything and everything. i write fanfiction in between novels. those novels have been in the genres of contemporary fiction, fantasy, paranormal romance, and dystopia. my fanfiction tends to be the same sort of things, though i write mostly magical realism or contemporary fiction for fanfiction.

but yeah. i write a lot. i will write anything i have an idea for. so far that's been just about everything.

I love writing! It is my biggest hobby and also what I'm working on to be my career. I love most genres, but I'm especially drawn to magical realism and books with dark themes and fantasy aspects. As a result, that's what I tend to write.

I write a lot of flash fiction and poetry because it's short and easy to finish. I also write a bunch of non-fic journal entry type stuff. Alternatively, I also like writing novels! Although I haven't finished one since high school...lol...I get big ideas, write about half the book, and then realize I don't know what I'm doing lol.

BUT I am working on a new idea which combines all my favorite things- magical realism, occult, and cool girls, so i have high hopes that I will actually write the entire thing. I just get so many ideas all the time that it's difficult for me to stick with one! lol

I love to write. Fanfiction, roleplay, or original stories.

The original stuff jumps from genre to genre. I could write poems one day, dark stories the next, and sappy stuff after that. But I tend to write stories based on my dreams. I tend to have dreams-almost-nightmares quite often, but since I was just so used to it, most of the time I woke up thinkin THIS COULD BE A GREAT STORY, I NEED TO WRITE DOWN THE IDEA BEFORE I FORGET. LOL

I would love to publish a book with short stories soon. Right now I'm working on one too, but I'm just too perfectionist to consider it good enough yet.

i've written seven novels (between 80k-100k each), seven full length fanfics (30k-80k each), self-published two of my novels (you can buy them on the barnes and noble website), and am currently working on the second book in a trilogy.

i think it's safe to say writing is my passion.

I write poems in which I bury my emotions.

I like to write a lot as well. I want to publish a book of short stories of sorts. Though all of the stories are based around the same two people and in the same timeline. I also like writing flash fiction. I have lots of ideas for novels and all of them would turn into series... But I am a terrible person and have yet to finish one.

I wouldn't say I'm an avid writer. I'm more of a "when I feel I have to get it out somehow" kind of writer. I like to write poetry. I want to write a book so badly, but I'm not great at staying focused enough. I think it's wonderful that people can stick to their writing. Kudos!
