Ddlg and Tumblr

Hey everybody! So recently I started a pro-ddlg blog which also addresses the various problems brought up by anti blogs such as littles not tagging their content appropriately, calling out fake daddy doms etc. I was going through the tag pink (with safe search on) and I found a blog run by a grown woman (it'll be hard to believe when you see the screenshots) who is 20 years old. I simply asked her in the most polite way possible if she could flag her blog as having adult content and her arguments were priceless. I think what I'm trying to say is that we really need to do something about this. The antis have really made it a movement so I don't see why we can't? Giving all these fake doms and idiotic littles the boot and trying to make our community a safe place for everyone. Thanks for reading and I just wanted to know everyone's views on this and if you guys can help come up with solutions!

What I find hilarious is in the beginning she seemed like she was okay with making her blog NSFW but then when she couldn't do it she turned around and had an attitude towards you when you were simply asking her to do something to help other people who are underage. I 100% see and agree with your point, she acted out for no reason. Since she blocked you I assumed you haven't seen the post she made about how "Underage littles do not belong in dd/lg etc do not message me on here telling me to stop posting how I do and about stuff I do. You are 13 do not try to threaten to go to Tumblr just because of my posts, when everyone else posts the same way. Please". that's exactly what she wrote, she's being petty and unreasonable when making her blog NSFW would have no affect. I think you handled it perfectly, but there are people like her who are just unreasonable.

There is of course good and bad everywhere - though some places definitely have certain kinds of good or bad in great abundance!

I love that tumblr is such an easily accessible place to find other littles and keep up to date with a lot of ddlg stuff. Unfortunately with easy access comes crappy people

I agree. Sturgeon's Revelation: 90% of everything is crud.

 

It's that "easy access" you're talking about that reduces the filtering of so much of that crud, especially considering the primary demographics of the site's users, producing quality results akin to the stereotypical YouTube comments section - which is a real shame, because there really is some truly good stuff on tumblr (the best of it tends to be at least implicitly "anti-tumblr", the irony of which I find amusing), and as with anything else, increasing accessibility to the good commonly comes with a tenfold increase increase in accebility to garbage. My heart is softened for today's youth who as often as any others are not taught the necessary skills for differentiating between things that are good or worthwhile or true and the rest of the "crud", but who are yet exposed to such an unprecedented and staggering volume of material from media and social media sources.

 

Every generation has its own challenges, and while it's comparatively easy today to make it into adulthood without dying of starvation, disease, or exposure, it may be more difficult than ever before to make it into adulthood without becoming an utter moron.
