mitchie Posted August 15, 2016 Report Posted August 15, 2016 So i feel like i have been lossing my little space more and more. Does anyone else go through this when they are super stressed out? I have never experienced this before and it is scaring me.... 1
atxDD Posted August 15, 2016 Report Posted August 15, 2016 I suggest therapy, but I think the main thing is what you identified - stress can be a HUGE problem with feeling little because you have all this grown up stuff to deal with. When you're little, you're carefree and content, or getting there, and if you have a lot on your mind it can bet hard. Meditation, anxiety meds, and a caretaker to help you deal with stress are my prescription.

I'm actually dealing with that now, so know you're not alone in this struggle. It's completely normal. The more and more we have to be "grown up" and deal with drama and problems we don't allow the mind to reach little space. It's somewhere else dealing with other things... Have you talked to your caregiver? I talk to my daddy when I don't feel I can be little. He knows the life stress, work stress and friend drama. And when I'm ranting out it. I'm not little I'm me. We talk and try to work through it. But even if you feel like your losing your little space do the things to make you happy! Color! Who says it has to be little coloring, but it can be if you want. Color what makes you happy. Take a bath. Doesn't have to have toys but why not? Slash! Smile! (If I had a tub I totally would) even the mundane things put a sticker on your toothbrush. Put things around that remind you of who you are! Change the background on your phone... find a fun photo that helps keep the stress down. Play Sudoku or jewel star, it's a zen thing that calms the mind and let's it process through the knots in life. When stress let's up, watch a Disney film... start slow and find yourself, your little space won't be far behind. Hope my rambling helps... *hugs* hang in there my friend!

Life is to a point where I am disenchanted and fed up most of the time, I understand your plight. I hope you find it, but be gentle with yourself and don't try too hard. You're a great person mitchie.

I feel very emotionally and physically stressed lately and have been having a very hard time getting into little space. Talking to Daddy helps but I'm still struggling. And then I feel stressed about losing it! Ugh
