15884_1655600399 Posted August 14, 2016 Report Posted August 14, 2016 Does anyone have any good snacks or meals for me to cook or bake or anything for when I'm in little space?
AngelLove Posted August 15, 2016 Report Posted August 15, 2016 I usually jus look up a recipe for sugar cookies or make something with pretzels, marshmallows and chocolate, you can make tiny snowmen or jus little shapes and stuffs out of it. As for kinda meals yuw could make grilled cheese samwhiches or just any kind of samwhich or chicken nuggest and mac n cheese.
Guest annemarie Posted August 15, 2016 Report Posted August 15, 2016 i tend to like snacks more when i'm in littlespace. and i also like hamburgers and sandwiches more. i would suggest goldfish crackers, pb&j, and fruit snacks.
Guest Queen Of The Damned Posted August 15, 2016 Report Posted August 15, 2016 Some fantastic little meals and snacks could be anything it really depends on your tastes but what ever you like you could always make it into a little meal by cutting sandwiches into fun shapes like stars or hearts and cutting your fruits and veggies into fun shapes as well and string cheese sticks crackers pretzels animal crackers etc~+ Sippy cups filled with flavored milks or yummy juices making healthy soda pops with natural juices and seltzer water is always great! Virgin mimosas made with orange juice and ginger or shirley temples made with maraschino cherry juice and ginger ale root beer floats with vanilla ice cream and a cherry on top. Heart cherry pie tarts are really easy to make for tea party all you need is frozen rolled out pie crust you get in the freezer section heart cupcake tin to place the crust in and cherry pie filling and just cook it in the oven! no prep or anything.

Cloudy Posted August 17, 2016 Report Posted August 17, 2016 (edited) Finger foods and food that's in little bites are definitely the biggest things that will make a little feel very small. Not only that though but one of the most important things in little baking is to "play". Food that feels fun.. food that looks cute and just feels playful. Food just arranged to look adorable or fun. Play with your food! Take a few moments for the presentation of the snack and I'm sure it will be worth it in warm fuzzy feelings! Ariel_Anne mentioned ants on a log and I super second it. Cute, tasty, and it has that "oh mommy and daddy are trying to sneak fruits and veggies in my tummy" kinda feel. There are lots of ways to play with that sort of thing too. One popular way to exchange the raisins and go with goldfish crackers.. making it look like fishies are swimming in the peanut butter lake! A quick Google search for "fun healthy snacks for kids" is a goldmine, but here is a couple adorable recipes! Apple Cookies: Click! (Not actually cookies, but cute apple slices with nummy toppings!) Banana Roll Ups: Click! (A super cute "sweet" treat that will still feel unique and "fun") Butterfly Bags!: Click! (Literally just "putting snacks in a sandwhich baggie.. but a laundry clip and a piple cleaner makes it fun! This is super the thing I'm talking about. Just a couple extra seconds and handful a change can make any snack a super little snack!) Other ideas can be stuff like taking little pretzel sticks and making kabbobs, putting cheese and fruit or whatever on that. Just have fun! Play with your food and then have fun eating what comes out! Edited August 17, 2016 by Cloudy 1

TimidLittlePupen Posted August 18, 2016 Report Posted August 18, 2016 (edited) If mew don't mind a little bit of work, then homemade mini pot pies are wonderful for any time. Mew can use my personal way or find a recipe if mew'd prefur. But if mew want to try my way, then: Mew will need either a muffin tin(a regular sized one)/mini pie crusts, pie crust sheets(either for the top of the store bot mini pie crusts or for the entire crust if doing the muffin tin method), chicken(if meat is wanted, fresh or canned, could possibly use other types of meats I've just never tried), mixed veggies(I generally get the cans), and a can(or two depending on how many pot pies mew are making) of cream of chicken soup. Then mew just have to follow the instructions to get the crust set up, cook the chicken(if not canned), mix the chicken, veggies, soup(possibly a little milk if mew don't want a super thick consistency) all together until pretty well mixed, then just fill up mew's pie crust, top with top crust(can even cut out cute shapes from the crust and attach with a little dab of water/milk), and follow baking instructions. Great for snacks, lunches, cute dinners, and best of all something adorable to share with friends, family, and your caregiver. (and leftover pies, need merely be cover(either with tinfoil or put into tupperware) Edited August 18, 2016 by TimidLittleKitten
