i wrote a poem. i don't usually write poetry.

i wrote something.

 

i remember the day when the skies turned grey. everyone told me i would be okay.

they brought me some ice as i sat on the chair, and spoke to me like life had been so plain.

 

i remember the day when the skies turned black. i was miles from home with no going back.

she called me and told me to walk to the west. my house was in reach, hope wasn't gone yet.

 

i remember the day when the skies turned white. it was falling from clouds from morning 'til night.

he told me it melts when the seasons change, and the flowers will bloom from the dirt once again.

 

i remember the day when the skies turned pink. the moon had risen, the sun would just sink.

you told me it's beauty, i said i agreed. we held our breath deep in the sea beneath.

 

i'll remember the day when the skies turned red. i was dreaming something i knew i'd regret.

i told myself "this is the moment from bed. you know what you're worth, but you're better off dead."
