DAE fell into Daddy Space while watching Finding Dory?

Hello everyone,

So I'm new to the community, and it's a relief to me to find a community for the lifestyle i subconsciously following.

I've always been a caregiver in a relationship, and its just my nature. Finally was relieved to find an name for it.

Anyway, so a peculiar thing happened. While watching this movie, Finding Dory, with my gf in the theatre, I found myself dropping into Daddy Space. And it just happened. I projected my gf onto Dory's character, and found myself getting overwhelmed with love and affection and protective of her. In the middle of the theatre during the movie. My sweet gf was puzzled and allowed me to dote on her(she hates being disturbed while watching a movie) and she was super chill about it. We had a great day later and it all involved in my in my daddy space. She did not get a sub drop but she sweetly indulged me.

So, is it possible for Daddies/mommies/CGS to drop into their headspace like a sub gets triggered into Little Space?

Also I get overwhelmingly emotional over news of kids getting hurt/dying/getting orphaned, and I immediately have to cuddle my gf and take care of her. It's this normal? Any insight would be helpful! Thanks!

Daddy gets triggered into daddy space a lot when I'm being little. He's daddy all the time but he goes deeper when I'm little. And he learned the words to monster high songs and stuff just for me so when I'm singing he can sing too (but mostly he just watches me while I play with my deuce doll)

I feel like that can absolutely happen! It did happen to you and I am sure that it has happen to other daddy's as well.

As for the last part... it just sounds like you just have a big heart.

My Daddy is a Daddy to me all the time, but I think it's possible for a lot of guys to fall or be triggered into Daddy space just like littles do. I think what you're describing is just your general Daddy instincts and nature coming through into everyday. Personally, I think you should just embrace it and enjoy it!

Most of the daddies I've talked to, say that they are always in Daddy space... but I think it is possible that the movie triggered your daddy feelings a lot :3 and that's awesome!!! your gf is lucky! ^^

have seen the movie, and yes as a daddy when i saw little dory i got deep into daddy mode! wanted to jump in the screen and give her a hug and tell her everything was going to be ok!  For me there are different levels to being a daddy.  when i am chatting with my little about her day i am normal me, but when she gets into her little space it allows me to be 'silly' and get into my daddy space more.
