Flow artists? Hoopers? Fire Dancers?

Hey! I am pretty new at hooping and I love it! I'd love to get to know some fellow hoopers/flow artists in this community. How far in your journey are you? What inspired you to start?

Hi hi! I'm into gloving and shuffling. I got into them about a year ago. I love going to festivals and watching people do it there really inspired me. I immediately started learning. I got into shuffling before gloving but as a dancer, they were just two forms of expression that really interested me. I wanted to give people the same awed feeling I feel when I watch people do stuff like that. I've been really interested in hooping for the past few months but haven't actually bought a hoop. But I think I might. I used to hoop when I was much younger, not realizing that I was hooping. It was just fun.

ok i know this is completely different, but i'm a self-taught irish dancer (i also took classes for a couple years until the girls basically bullied me out of it, but i learned how by watching riverdance too many times growing up) and i just wanted to say that i really find any sort of dancing beautiful and find what you do awesome :3 also i miss dancing -.-

I like hooping I just need to get a bigger hoop cause my first one was from the dollar store and the second one is two hoops I cut and put together to make it bigger

I'm a fire spinner. Primarily fire fans, but I also do poi and am beginning to learn contact staff. I've tried hooping a few times but I get really frustrated when I can't keep it up. I guess I need to find someone to teach me and tell me what I'm doing wrong.
