I Made Some Music!

Hey everyone! 

 

So I'm usually more of a writer with a big imagination than anything else. However, when I was in high school, I used to fiddle around with this old video game that would let you create entire music tracks from pre-recorded or custom-made riffs. I'd found a few more games similar as I got older, but none of the games ever came with a means to record the songs or anything like that.

 

Time skip to two weeks ago, and I found this interesting little program on Steam called Rytmik Ultimate, which looks as though it's a simple music-making program, but is actually a little more intricate than what it seems. 

 

Anyway, I've started making and recording my own music. For now, it's just 8-bit video game tracks (yeah, I'm a bit of a nerd....no shame in admitting it ), but I will be getting into other tracks as well down the road.

So I made some more music! Again, not sure if it's my best work, but I'm pretty happy with it! It sets the mood I was aiming for and I could definitely hear it being in a side-scroller of some sort.

I think you're doing a great job - delving into something you're passionate about and creating something out of it.
