Cherry41 Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 Does anyone else do this? I use the envelope system of budgeting. A certain amount is allotted for each category each month...bills are sent a certain amount at the beginning of every month....spending money is loaded on to a separate debit card from the one that pays the bills. Recently, I got the idea to also have a separate BDSM/lg/sub fund. I got a separate prepaid (no fee) card that I set aside specifically for those types of things. I just label it a "hair makeup skincare" fund in case somebody sees my screen, but it is for: -hair -makeup -skincare (all things to make me look my best for Daddy) -sexual health expenses -comfort items...(for me that would be stuffed goats, foxes, and tiny dogs, glitter cups, blankets, sweat pants and tee shirts)
Princess-P Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 Yes yes yes! I am obsessed with budgets. Weird I know bit its so satisfying when you come in under budget on things. Coming from someone who grew up in a house where money was super tight I got used to having to account for every dollar. Now that I have to worry about it less I still keep a pretty close eye on things. Ok a very close eye lol. Making a little fund for yourself and the things you enjoy is really important too. Responsibilities of course come first but everyone should try to put a few dollars assidee each pay for no reason/just for fun items.
Guest AelaPiggy♥ Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 (edited) envelope system is the best!!! i'm addicted to budgeting my finances Edited June 30, 2016 by AelaPiggy♥
Guest Ginger-kit22 Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 How would someone get a prepaid (no fee) card?? That sounds extremely useful! Especially for someone who can't manage her finances to save her life... e-e
ShotaChan Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 I wish I had the control to budget Soooo coool!✨
Cherry41 Posted June 30, 2016 Author Report Posted June 30, 2016 @ Gingerkit-22: I have two cards. My "Hair and makeup" card is one I got when I signed up for a free account from Capital One 360. It is easy to use, but they hold your money forever when you make a deposit. That gets annoying as can be. My spending money card is a Bluebird prepaid card from Walmart. They are easy to use if you link a debit card from your bank account to them and load from that card. The money moves over right away. The envelope system is the only way I can budget....and they have to be "virtual" envelopes....with everything on cards or in savings accounts, and my monthly expenses card account broken down into sections in a document on my phone. I am terrible with actual cash. If I need to pay for something in cash, it comes out of the account right before I need it and gets hidden in a side pocket of my wallet...or I will reach in there, grab it, and spend it on the first fun thing I see.
Lil' Miss Dolly Posted June 30, 2016 Report Posted June 30, 2016 we have the same kinda system in our home as well. Daddy calls my spending allotment my "princess allowance" - We have Visa Debit cards here in Canada that act like a credit card when you purchase online so thats where most of my PA goes. I am OBSESSED with Collar Collar or Nekollar on Etsy.. Baby Paw Luxury also. SO MANY COLLARS! Daddy is actually an accountant so he is super good with money - Which equals a very very spoiled Dolly <3
sirenaophelia Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 I wanna do this. I need Daddy to help me out. My mom already takes 800$ out of my disability check every month for rent and bills on my apartment... I just get spend crazy. :X it's upsetting when I run out of "fun time" money... I want to manage better... be a better little Princess!!!
hislg14 Posted July 5, 2016 Report Posted July 5, 2016 I set up the envelope budget system fro Daddy and I...never thought to add in for my little needs....lol I gotta do this!!! Daddy will like that. I need more Disney movies!!!
sirenaophelia Posted July 6, 2016 Report Posted July 6, 2016 YES DISNEY MOVIES... but PIXAR TOO OHMIGOSH.. but I want so much little stuff. I gotta get Daddy into this!!!
faerie.bunny Posted July 6, 2016 Report Posted July 6, 2016 i'm recently budgeting so much like i'm saving for a trip to disneyland and aim to put £200-£250 out of every paycheck. but this month is literally gonna be a huge budget. i see daddy for 3 weeks so we're gonna have to have days out, and pay for travel. (cinema trips, a gig we're going to, dinner at pizza hut, a mini golf trip) with all of this to plan i barely had time to treat myself this month. so i've set aside £40 for all my make up, skincare and money for some squishies!
