Guest LavanderRabbit Posted June 28, 2016 Report Posted June 28, 2016 So I'm not sure how many others do this, but I like to role play online in groups. It's not so much a thing for sexual reasoning but something to do with others in order to create a story, express yourself and for entertainment. I've been having a hard time finding people to do this with and most times I end up asking daddy who gets really annoyed with me asking all the time. I was wondering if anyone knew of somewhere you could go to do this of course for non sexual or romantic things, but just adventures in general. **side note: I have tried to get into D&D and Warhammer, but have no friends nor anyone to teach me. Daddy said he would but only when we are together an sit makes me mad.
Strawberry Sprinkles Posted June 29, 2016 Report Posted June 29, 2016 (edited) I started to role-play in middle school and my best friend of nine years is one of my role-play partners from back then. I started on Neko Kugyay, which is still around but just barely. It's there as an option, but I do not endorse it. I know a website exists for Dungeons and Dragons. I have no idea where though. If you want help to find an established group, I have a friend that's a game master that is currently hosting a game. If you want in, I can ask if he has a spot. He's passionate about the game, so he'd eat up the chance to teach someone the ropes. Also, your local comic book store probably has a group if you ask the clerk. I tried to get into D&D once, but it's pretty complex with different versions of the game. I'd suggest first getting familiar with the races and dice rolling system. You could maybe practice filling out some examples of character sheets online. _______________________________ My favorite place to role-play is Soliaonline.com; where they have a forum dedicated to it (the forums they have are set up similarly to DDlgforums). Solia has a wide ranged age group that's typically heavier on older role-players. Each thread is a different role-play. Some are free-forum, some have very detailed plots. Majority of quality role-plays in there enforce para. Deviant also has a role-play community. I've never role-played here, but I'd assume para/literate is the golden rule as well. MMO games typically have role-play servers. Tera Online has one where you can find role-play partners. In this, one-liners are key. Xat.com is a place you could role-play on certain chats. One-liners rule this joint with an occasional para. I'd warily and not get too into the community. Facebook has some role-play communities. _______________________________ Since you role-play, I'm sure you know these but some common terms are: One-liner/speed - One sentence or few sentences Paragraph - Five or more sentences. Semi-literate - One, two paragraphs; sometimes three. Fully literate - Story telling style, typically contains multiple paragraphs. I'll add more after getting in touch with a friend I know jumps from different roleplay sites. She knows a good bit of them. Edited June 29, 2016 by Strawberry Sprinkles
