New to DDLG, need help?

I've researched ddlg for a while, and I finally decided to give it a shot, can you guys help me figure out if I'm a little? I think I am but I'm not sure...

I know that liking cartoons and cutesy things doesn't make you a little, but those things are seriously a big part of my life. I spend most of my time working on coloring books, watching cute animal videos, cartoons and anime. I have lots of stuffed animals and I'm embarassed to say I'm emotionally attached to each doll, before I go to sleep I make sure they're all in comfortable positions on my bed (in case one of them has their head stuck!!) and if I wake up and one of the dolls falls off the bed, I pick it up and kiss its forehead and place it back on the bed, if I don't do that I feel really bad.

I also love talking like a child, and being handled like a toddler. The idea of a s/o bathing me, taking care of me when I'm sick or brushing my hair sounds like heaven. One time one of my friends called me "princess" and I just felt like my heart is bursting, also the thought of being called "good girl" really excites me.

I also have like, moments when I really feel like a 7 years old, I guess I could say I enter my little space at those moments? Most of the day I act like a grown up but then I get into my safe place and act like a little child and it really makes me feel good.

I really love the thought of having a daddy as well, I've always wanted my partner to be so protective and caring, almost like a parental figure, and be dominant and rough in bed, so I can feel both vulnerable and safe with them, so the description of a "daddy" sounds perfect to me.

So, from your experince, what do you say?

I think you're overthinking this! I hope that doesn't sound harsh... it's good news. You don't have to prove yourself as a little, there are no magical requirements. You sound like a little to me. If you want to identify as one, you can. If you didn't like the label you could just enjoy the things you liked without it.

I think you've said more than enough to convince me, but that's not what's important. There is no checklist for ddlg, no form you have to fill out in order to be "a little" or "a daddy" - the bottom line is that what you are comes from you.

I think based on what you've said, you possess many little qualities, but the only question that you need ask yourself is: "Do I want to be a little?" If the answer is yes, then you need no further validation. Littles come in all sorts of shapes and sizes (both literally and figuratively) and every person likes different things - not all are interested in stuffies, or colouring - everyone has different tastes. If anyone tells you that any "one" thing makes you a little, then they're wrong.

At the end of the day, if you want to have a significant other take care of you in that kind of way, if you like having a little space, if you want a Daddy, then you could be a little. All you have to do is decide if it's for you!

True, there's no need to fit certain requirements or a label to be a little, if you feel happy with yourself and this then go ahead c: enjoy what makes you happy because at the end is all that matters :) If you feel like a little then you're one.

I say this every single time I mentor a new Little for a the first time, and it's still the number one rule I stand by.

The only requirement for being a Little is that you feel you are one. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. (Apart from following general rules of conduct, SSC, age limitations, ect.)

There is no reason to prove what you know in your gut. If defining yourself as a Little gives you happiness, then that's what you are. Welcome, darling. <3
