Physical illness / disability / limitations ?
A lot of us make assumptions that because some people have various types of physical limitations ( whether that be chronic illness , disabilities , temporary limitations , or mental limitations such as severe depression….or dare I say…. Getting older ?! ) that they aren’t capable of exercising.
How bogus is that ?!
Most often it is assumed that exercise has to be some gruesome task that makes you feel like you’re dying. While that is the goal for some people , that doesn’t mean that is the only way to define being active or exercise.
The main definition of exercise : “activity requiring physical effort, carried out to sustain or improve health and fitness.”
Did you make an effort to move your body today ? Guess what ? YOU EXERCISED !
This area will be meant for those that are geared towards low impact exercise , with minimal exertion but maximum results.
You are also more than welcome to share why you may be struggling with your limitations , and get support and motivation from others while you continue your journey ! Or even how you are pushing past what you thought you were capable of and allowing yourself to be proud of yourself ! 💪🏻
