    "Downloading" Succulents

"Downloading succulents" i love that term xD. Thats how i've gotten a few plants from my work lls. Atleast until im allowed to 'rescue' the whole plant from my boss xD

    "Downloading" Succulents

I like to pick up bits from succulents that are discarded in greenhouses. They are gonna be thrown out anyways. I take them home in my pockets and then set them out on some dirt to spray with water every day. It's fun to see them sprout and I get an adorable baby succulent!
  4. I think moving your plants will be OK as long as you don't leave them in a hot car. I made that mistake even though I watered mine. I would pack them last and then once you get to your new place, unload them first.
  5. Not sure about herbs I would say no I would just start over good things about herbs they grow fast so I would just plant new ones
  6. Okay, I did some chaos gardening earlier in the spring because my seeds weren’t starting inside. Wellllll, they’ve sprouted and I’ve got mint, cilantro, dill and jalapeño in the garden. I’m moving to an apartment tomorrow, is it possible I can pot them and take them with, or will this send them into shock and kill them? Any advice appreciated!

    Re-potting season

A neighbor that knows I collect plants handed over their Ficus tree they didn't want to care for anymore. The thing looked cramped in that small pot it had been in for about 4 years. We'll see how this fella does with more wiggle room for the roots.
  8. I learned this season about proper spacing between seeds/plants. As you can see in the photo below, the carrots I planted are thick and crowded. A lot of the seeds said they expired 2018 or older on the package so I didn't think they would ALL take off. 😛 Carrot seeds are ridiculously tiny! I have thinned them out, but the scraps won't go waste. I have animal friends that will enjoy them as treats! p.s. Just realized this goes with my profile pic 😆

Are there heath benefits from drinking the tea?

    Dandelion Root

Dandelions are an easy plant to identify. It's invasive but guess what? The entire plant is edible! Be certain that the area you are harvesting hasn't been treated with pesticides, weed killer, pollution from cars (dandelions will literally grow out of cement), and the like. As I have been weeding in my neighbor's garden, I have come across some glorious dandelions. The leaves you can cook up or eat raw like any greens you get at the grocery store. However, my guinea pigs get dibbs on those. 5 minutes later, they have picked it clean! The root I will wash, cut up into pieces, roast, and make tea. Here are the details from my favorite TIktoker!
